The Sri Lanka–Canada Business Council (SLCBC) hosted a heartfelt farewell dinner in honour of His Excellency Eric Walsh, High Commissioner of Canada to Sri Lanka, on 9th July 2025 at the Royal Colombo Golf Club.
The evening brought together members of the business community and close collaborators to celebrate and reflect on the strong partnership fostered during H.E. Eric Walsh’s tenure.
During the event, key milestones and initiatives supported by the High Commissioner were highlighted — including trade and education fairs, bilateral missions, cultural celebrations and impactful regional collaborations. His Excellency’s continued support and active engagement with the Council were deeply appreciated and recognized.
SLCBC President and Executive Committee members expressed their gratitude for the High Commissioner’s unwavering commitment to strengthening Canada–Sri Lanka relations and wished him the very best for his future endeavors.
The evening concluded with a token of appreciation presented to His Excellency, along with warm wishes and memories shared by those in attendance.
