On 3rd November 2025, the delegation from the Sri Lanka–Canada Business Council (SLCBC) of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce met with Syphered.Tech, a Canada-based IT services and cybersecurity solutions provider. Syphered.Tech specializes in cybersecurity, managed IT services, data compliance, and cloud-based solutions, offering a wide range of services to clients across North America. The company’s expertise spans penetration testing, cloud infrastructure, data-governance automation, digital workplace monitoring, and “sales-as-a-service” solutions designed to help technology firms scale efficiently.
During the meeting, discussions focused on potential areas of collaboration between the Council and Syphered.Tech, particularly in leveraging Sri Lanka’s growing technology talent to support cybersecurity and managed-service needs in the Canadian market. Both parties explored possibilities for skill transfer, capacity-building initiatives, and joint ventures aimed at developing digital infrastructure and compliance solutions in Sri Lanka.
Syphered.Tech also expressed interest in partnering with Sri Lankan firms to facilitate access to the Canadian market through technology and innovation-based partnerships. The company’s expertise in digital security and compliance could play a significant role in strengthening the digital-readiness of Sri Lankan enterprises, thereby enhancing their global competitiveness.
The meeting concluded with an understanding to form a joint working group to identify pilot projects and partnership frameworks by the first quarter of 2026. The SLCBC will coordinate with its local membership and Syphered.Tech to outline actionable initiatives that foster technology-driven collaboration and investment.
The Council extends its appreciation to Syphered.Tech for their time and openness to explore avenues of cooperation and looks forward to building a long-term partnership that strengthens digital and trade linkages between Sri Lanka and Canada.
