In a significant step toward strengthening educational and trade ties between Canada and Sri Lanka, Mr. M.H.K.M. Hameez, Vice President of the Sri Lanka-Canada Business Council, and Mr. Elanko Ratnasabapathy, Executive Director of the Canada-Sri Lanka Business Convention, held a productive meeting with Prof. T. Prabaharan, Vice-Chancellor of Batticaloa University.
The meeting focused on fostering collaboration for the upcoming Canadian International Education Fair and Jaffna Investment & Trade Forum 2025, a dual-event initiative designed to promote academic exchange and investment opportunities. Discussions centered on providing students and businesses in the Eastern Province with access to global educational programs and innovative trade partnerships.
